Dr. Babak Khamsi places enormous emphasis on listening to his patient’s needs and personal circumstances so he can accomplish the best results. Initially he did not consider pursuing a career in medicine and completed his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering at UCLA, graduating cum laude. Dr. Khamsi was also inducted into the prestigious honor societies of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
He then decided to embark on his medical training at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Khamsi was inspired to change his profession by his grandmother, who sadly passed away a year before he completed his studies. Dr. Khamsi completed his Orthopedic Residency at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School (formerly UMDNJ) where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and was recognized with a “Resident Teaching Award.”
Dr. Khamsi’s biggest motivation in his orthopedic care is enabling patients to find relief and respite from their neck and back pain as soon as possible. He takes great pride in providing a thorough, patient-centered experience combined with a superior quality of care.
Dr. Khamsi spends as much time as is necessary with his patients so he can understand what they truly need. He does not take his duties to his patients lightly and carries out in-depth and thorough examinations to ascertain the best approach.
Dr. Khamsi’s association with the Corona Regional Medical Center, in the city of Corona, and the Riverside Community Hospital, located in Riverside, both in Southern California, gives him access to state-of-the-art technology and facilities.
